More support for European institutions using the CTIS clinical trial registry

The European Medicines Agency has launched two new support initiatives to help universities and hospitals to navigate the new CTIS trial registry.

1. Walk-in clinics twice a month

These live events provide an opportunity for medical researchers to receive practical advice about any CTIS functionality by asking questions to CTIS experts.

The first clinic is on 28 March 2022 at 16:00 CET.

Participants should review the CTIS training and support materials before attending the CTIS walk-in clinics.

2. Functionality talks once a month

These talks will focus on a specific CTIS functionality and include a live demonstration by CTIS experts and an opportunity for users to ask questions.

The next CTIS bitesize talk is on 23 March 2022 at 14:00 CET and will focus on creating an initial clinical trial application.

TranspariMED applauds EMA’s strong and sustained efforts to support clinical trial registration and reporting on the new CTIS registry.

Hopefully, EMA will also offer similar support to universities and hospitals struggling with reporting clinical trial results on the old EudraCT registry, where over 3,400 missing trial results are in acute danger of being lost forever.
